What we refuse outright

Most sites in this space monetize by selling something — supplements, spore kits, retreat packages, telehealth subscriptions. That creates a direct incentive to overstate the evidence, and you can see the result in the search rankings. We picked revenue models that survive being honest, and we decline the ones that do not.

• No money from anyone selling psilocybin, spores, grow kits, or any consumable psychedelic. Not advertising, not sponsorship, not affiliate commission, not a listing fee. This is a permanent refusal, not a current position.
• No payment to remove a correction. A published correction is not for sale, at any price, to anyone, including the subject of the correction.
• No affiliate relationship that would require softening a safety warning. If carrying a product means omitting a contraindication or a screening failure, we do not carry the product.
• No payment for a listing that fails our criteria, and no sponsorship contingent on editorial approval.
• No selling of reader data. What you read here is not a product. See consumer health data.

These are not hypothetical. We have been asked.

How labeling works

Disclosure that a reader has to hunt for is not disclosure. What you will actually see:

• On a directory listing: a partner badge on the listing card itself, visible in the list as well as on the detail page, next to the operator’s name.
• On a page with affiliate links: a dashed disclosure box above the first link, in plain language, before you click anything.
• In the newsletter: the word SPONSORED immediately above the placement, in the body of the email, not buried in the footer.
• In an article about a commercial partner: a sentence in the article naming the relationship, at the first mention.

This follows the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides: material connections disclosed clearly and conspicuously, close to the claim or link they relate to, in language a reader understands, before the reader acts. If a disclosure on this site is ever hard to find, that is a failure on our part and we want to hear about it.

Where this actually stands today

Psilocybin Research is a new publication, and a disclosure page that implies revenue we do not have would be its own small dishonesty. So, precisely:

• Live: data licensing. The legal-status dataset is free to read on the site and reusable under CC BY 4.0; paid access covers bulk and programmatic use. Inquiries go to [email protected].
• Planned, not running: reader support and digital products, paid directory listings, affiliate links, and newsletter sponsorship.
• Current commercial partners: none. There is no affiliate link, paid listing or sponsored placement anywhere on this site as of 2026-08-31. When that changes, the partners are named here, and this page is dated when it changes.

The Treatment & Retreats Finder does not exist yet, which is why the listings stream is not live. Its inclusion criteria will be published before the first paid listing runs, not after.

Who is behind this

This site is published by Talent Group, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Ownership, funding and editorial direction all sit with the publisher, and with no pharmaceutical company, retreat operator, clinic, laboratory or advocacy organization.
