Reader mail is the cheapest quality control that exists, and it improves this site more reliably than anything we do on our own. Every address below reaches a person.

What’s this about?

A figure, a law or a date that has moved.

We use your address to reply, and nothing else. Please don’t send medical records.

Reporting an error? A confirmed factual error is fixed with a dated note saying what the page used to say — how corrections are recorded.

For journalists

We will go on record. If you are working on psilocybin policy, the FDA timeline, or state-level access, [email protected] reaches us directly, and press on deadline gets a same-day reply. We are also glad to say where the evidence runs out, which is often the more useful quote.

Our state-by-state legal tracker is checked against primary sources and carries explicit caveats wherever our confidence sits below high. If you need the underlying data rather than the page, ask.

Citing this site

You are welcome to cite or quote us, and the legal-status dataset is available under a CC BY 4.0 license — use it, and credit it. Because the trackers move as the law does, please cite the date you accessed the page.

Where a better answer lives

We are a publication rather than a clinic or a law firm, so some questions belong with someone who knows your history or your jurisdiction. Whether psilocybin suits you, and anything about changing a medication, is a conversation for a prescriber — our safety and contraindications page lists what to bring to it. Whether you would face charges in your own situation is a question for a lawyer licensed in your state; the legal tracker gives you the statute to take to them.

We sell no psilocybin, spores or consumable product of any kind, so a request for a supplier is one we will always answer the same way: our trials registry and the two licensed state programs are the lawful routes, and they are all we can point anyone toward.

Listings and partnerships

Licensed providers who want to be considered for a listing should write to [email protected]. Inclusion follows published criteria and is earned by meeting them — see who pays for this work for what we do and do not take money for.
